I know there are some cycling enthusiasts on here, so I thought some of you might be interested in follwing the exploits of my lad, who is currently part way through a ride from Sheffield to Singapore.
He's blogging about it as he goes here:
http://www.whereisjoe.co.uk/It's his dream trip that he's funding himself from savings he's built up slaving in call-centre hell, and TEFL in a language school in Taiwan.
He's also raising money for a few charities on the way:
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice offers care and support to children with a shortened life expectancy, both in their own homes and at the hospice in North Anston.
You can visit his just giving page and donate here:

Assist Sheffield:
"ASSIST helps destitute asylum seekers in Sheffield by providing accommodation, food and support to those in most need or distress. We’re a charity and we’re totally reliant on volunteers, grants and the generosity of the people of Sheffield and the surrounding area."
