What is the point of this they never seem to make it through to the first team and end up getting released

Fact: Win a Pro winner Chris smith DID play in the first team in a competitive match. There are also hopes that Kayden Jackson might make it.

We have had 3 winners join us so far and the winners are all amateur footballers so just what does anybody expect? Even most pros/semi-pros in the lower leagues are unlikely to make it in the league. We might have little chance of actually unearthing a gem but there is still a chance and it costs us absolutely fuck all in the meantime.

And leaving aside all the stuff that Flashheart says (which is all true and well argued), it's excellent marketing and exposure for the club, paid for by Samsung. Why would we not do it? We, as a club, have nothing to lose and plenty to gain.
