  SWINDON Town have once again reduced ticket prices for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow.

The prices are fantastic and commendable and I'm not complaining. They couldn't be expected to be any cheaper.

But surely in order to slash prices they need to start at a higher price, then get reduced. Unless of course they mean over matchday prices. But I'm a season ticket holder, so a £3 saving isn't really slashing the price. And in any case, the two aren't the same thing. You don't sell a Fiat Punto by advertising "slashed prices on Ferrari", do you.

I keep opening threads like this expecting to be outraged that someone is getting a cheaper 'sashed priced' deal than I got. STFC owe me at least two outrages.
