Just read the BBC article and suddenly all becomes clear. It was safe to overrule this particular ref because it was Graham Scott, long-time Swindon fan, founding member of SSILA (original London reds) and former Abingdon Town goalkeeper.

There's a simple explanation for everything if you look hard enough.  Smiley
