JED McCrory is not your conventional football club chairman.

Well, I suppose we can all think what we want about Jed but at least he's enthusiastic about it.

Counts for something that's for sure

Is he suggesting he's still subject to an NDA agreement that stops him talking about what's happening at the club at the moment, rather than just an NDA agreement that was stopping him talking about the takeover and actions of the previous board?

I think the NDA agreement put in place by Black basically covered off anything either 'past present or future that may be considered detrimental to Blacks reign as Owner'. If he (Black) is a private guy and wants nothing said an NDA could cover that... It's extreme but can be the case where he (Black) knows shit will come out and don't want it publicly broadcast, particularly where due diligence has been deferred as is the case here so don't be surprised if we never learn the truth through no fault of Jed

I see where you are coming from, but there are things happening at the club right now and likely to happen in the near future that will still probably be covered by the NDA.  Expect a few more court cases to be on the agenda!!

I wonder whether we are being too demanding? Are we expecting our chairman to reveal more than a chairman should? Is it just because we don't like some of the messages that we are so grumpy? I don't really know, but I am looking forward to being able to focus on the footie for a bit.

Due to our history I think we're very cautious when things don't look or smell right and tend towards paranoia at times.

Due to our history I think we're very cautious when things don't look or smell right and tend towards paranoia at times.

We do of course have that 'Third strike and you're out' thing concerning Administration hovering over us constantly, which probably makes us tend towards paranoia. If a board fuck up massively, we are deep in the shit, and so as Town fans we seem to do our own due dilligence tests based on the little information we can glean. Stuff like Fredi's posts (which, from what I have heard, was false information deliberately fed to a member of staff to see who was breaking the NDA), whether true or not, have stoked that even higher than usual. It does seem like some just do not like Jed and cannot trust anything he says or does, based more on his bad PR than any 'real' reason. It does seem that any vague rumor that someone decides to start suddenly finds traction in a way that wouldn't have happened under the old board.

It's not really on that people hurl abuse at them when they're with their families, but I can understand the frustration. There are a lot of questions that Jed seems to evade, and his use of Twitter still rankles slightly. But, for now, after TOO long, we are finally back to football, and we can see whether all this change and desire to 'go forward' will translate onto the pitch. Thank fuck for that.

NMH is right - there are limits to what a Board will want to communicate or not.  We weren't privy to 1/2 of what very relevantly went on under JW.

However I can't see what an NDA agreement has to do with being unable to explain Lee Power's role.  We may be able to be a good deal more sympathetic if that role and LPs plan were at least partly explained.

The oh we are just lucky to have a good relationship with Tottenham doesn't wash.  Invest in youth doesn't wash - the Crew Academy was not built over a season or two.  They are loan players anyway and clearly this policy has led to KMac (whom I'm sure has an NDA and pay off) and not people being beastly on Twitter.

Cutting the wage bill yes but signing so many players without managerial input? - answers please, Jed.

Hope to amend my post when our superkidz wup Posh this pm
