If you havent played cricket in ages, I suggest you work your way in slowly. I played it a fair bit in my younger years, I was never into it by my mate was. At one point I was a handy bowler, we had a muck around a few weeks ago and my arm/shoulder was so sore after about an over because I hadnt bowled for so long

Haha.

I used to watch my Dad play and when I got to about 12 or 13 I was asked to play whenever they were short.
Then I started going to nets and played more regularly and got better!!!

Johno. Okay we take it kinda seriously but we all accept its not the be all and end all. Its a good laugh and a great club to play for! Why do you think half our players live in CALNE?! Because its a good atmosphere. And we are going up! Wink

i'll have you know i used to open the batting for my school. played a fair bit this summer with my mates, and have seemed to have lost the ability to play off the front foot while my square cuts and pulls have magically blossomed.

practiced the old bowling a bit too. very erratic but i just tell em its me playing mind tricks because ill invariably get one beauty out of 300 balls. not part of the bowling attack but i could possibly add a collingwoodesque change with a Bowled e-tow caught village at deep mid wicket

I opened the bowling for my year. And unlike Johno can bowl from the bottom end!

I would bat number 10, ahead of the aboved mentioned.

yeh..well, can't get in goatacre 3rds.  Wink only messing around (they seem like idiots if they don't pick you the way there going) you were an bootom end specialist, can't complain you got wickets!

Goatacre ain't going anywhere by the way, they'll probably blow it.  Soapy Tit Wank
