As usual will be going this week starts Thursday....as many of you know my dad passed away a while back.
This week my sister and me along with my niece will be spreading his ashes among the Magnolia trees(well away from the playing area i hasten to add)
The place is vast so it is perfectly viable.

He loved it there and although a little of him will be going back to Hedge End i will raise a toast or two to him at his final resting place.

A keen sportsman and good as well he also loved the countryside.....it just made sense really.

So if any of you catch a glimpse on the box this week and want to raise a glass to Leefers dad.....feel free Smiley

Nice touch Lee, I'll be hoping my kids scatter my ashes into the sea whilst out on some little fishing boat in Cornwall. My dads ashes are in the local cemetery which i do visit but I feel no connection going there.

Nice idea that.  Any idea which hole you will choose?

Missing the event this year for the first time in about 5 years, normally do Thursday and Saturday but life is getting in the way this year.

Decent weather forcast it seems, little bit of cloud cover but still warm.  Seem to remember suffering badly last year as one of the days was far too hot for spending 10 odd hours on a golf course.

Cheers bud....will deffo be one of the par 5's...on account of there being plenty of foliage around the holes.
Have a four day pass...so i will be knackered come Sunday night, especially if Howell makes the cut!

Incidently he is playing with Ian Wright,Glenn Little and Ady Williams in the pro Am on Wednesday.
