I went to Vegas 2 years ago on a stag do, was one of the most insane 4 days of my life.

My mate buggered up our flights on the way there and we had 2 stop overs at Charlotte and Phoenix so from Swindon to Las Vegas took 27 hours, got there and hit the strip straight away. Got about 12 hours sleep in 4 days I was a write off when I got back home.

We stayed in Caesers Palace and had an amazing room looking over the pool area with a massive jacuzzi in the room, we got this by bribing the bloke on reception. Slip some money into your passport before you give it to the bloke on reception and they are normally pretty good with upgrading you in most hotels there.

Only rubbish thing we did was going to wet republic at MGM, the birds were amazing but the blokes were all absolute units and P Diddy was on the decks....I spent £50 to get in and stayed for 40 minutes! Awful, never felt so out of place in my life.

Went over there when Hatton got his arse handed to him by Mayweather.  We stayed at the Luxor, tried to get comp’d for upgrade to a better suite but instead ended up getting a bundle of free meal vouchers for one of the 24 hour buffets in the hotel.  That was quite good though as we didn’t need to pay any food for about 72 hours.

You need to do the obvious stuff like top of the Stratosphere, Water fountain show thing at the Bellagio.  Would definitely recommend a shooting range, there is undeniable buzz from firing a gun.

The crazy thing about Vegas is the way you totally lose any concept of time and you can live off very little kip.  We must have averaged 3 hours a night, normally in the afternoon.  I definitely buy the theory that the hotels pump oxygen into the buildings, in particular the casinos.

Plenty of non-gambling entertainment to had and there are some amazing bars just off the strip.

We went to one of the more run down ones (Sahara) at the bottom of the strip and sat there for most of the atfernoon eating dollar dogs and drinking dollar bottles of miller! I think it may be knocked down now!

Could take or leave the casinos, won a large amount early on 3 card poker and didn't do a lot in the casinos after that. Found it difficult to sleep in the hotels.

Did the helicopter and landing in Grand Canyon. Definitely would do it again.
