A good read that. I'm going to Brazil with the family if Bosnia qualify. Bosnia will be the best represented team at the tournament, we've waited 20 odd years for the dream to come true. Recent away support includes approx 25k away at France, 15k at Belgium, 20k against Germany. Wouldn't surprise me if there were that number in Brazil! (If we make it). Oh and in 2 of the last 5 away games Bosnia's support has outnumbered the home fans, in Liechtenstein (hardly an achievement) and in Slovenia.

That's less than Celtic take away. Pathetic support.

If the Balkan Wars hadn't happened would Yugoslavia be favourites for the World Cup 2014?

COACH: Safet Susic

GK: Begovic (BOS), Stojkovic (SRB)

DEF: Srna (CRO), Subotic (SRB), Spahic (BOS), Nastasic (SRB), Mujzda (BOS)

MF: Modric (CRO), Misimovic (BOS), Pjanic (BOS), Kovacic (CRO), Lulic (BOS), Rakitic (CRO)

FW: Jovetic (MON) Vucinic (MON), Dzeko (BOS), Ibisevic (BOS), Mandzukic (CRO), Petric (CRO)

Plus, maybe they'd have Ibra too. he'd qualify, and it would probably be more appealing than sweden.

I'd have to agree, would definitely be in the top 5 teams in the world.

Yeh but take out the players with names ending in "ic" and Yugo would be struggling even to field a team.

Fucking hell! The strength in depth of the strikers in particular is scary. It's kind of ironic that the best defenders are Serbs, I always thought they were better at attacking...

Great additions Visočan. I can see the two Ferrari's upfront for Montenegro, Jovetic and Vucinic, causing England plenty of problems tommorow in Podgorica. Here's hoping  Yes

Very impressive crowd scene too. Would I be right in thinking most of the Bosnian contingent at those matches you cited (France, Germany and Belgium) actually reside in those countries, ? Nonetheless, still very commendable and vocal following.

A lot of it would be diaspora from the Western European countries but you do also get a large travelling contingent from Bosnia.
