Its a shame to see a proud man being given a reality check, but to be fair it was on the cards and will probably be a good thing for Hatton in the long run.

Tyson Fury's a bell end too.

He comes out with this "I love Jesus stuff", "he is my saviour". How does he reconcile that with the recent atrocious trash talking of his prospective opponents.

His father is in prison for gouging a mans eye out. In an interview referring to someone or other, he used the term "he could send a glass eye to sleep", hardly appropriate in the circumstances. Eek

Fuck me clearly Janaage and Abrahammer are no boxing experts, to put it mildly.

What mistakes? He got beaten by Floyd who is arguably the greatest ever, by Paccy who is a great in his era and almost certainly on drugs - no shame in that - and given British boxing some wonderful times. I dont think many appreciate how good his destruction of Tsyzu was- it was astonishing.

And Abrahammer if you think a world champ with less defeats than Pacman is a plodder you're wrong, Malinaggi is a good fighter too and that franks the form of when Ricky beat him.

He should retire but he doesn't deserve this derision

Not deriding the bloke at all dave, just think he could have been so much better if he'd treated his body properly, instead of not taking care of himself in between fight training camps.

And this comeback was a mistake from the start.

Just heard the press conference. Very wise decision. Just hope he can channel himself positively. A massive feat to have shed the timber he has over the last few months. His toughest battle is ahead I fear. Good luck to him.

Expert? probably not but then again using a boxers record to form any sort of arguement doesnt show well on someones knowledge.

Plodder was an initial reaction and was definately the wrong descriptive word, the fella was ok but lets not pretend he is some word beater (despite the previous title).  Back in the day Hatton would have done him in 4/5 rounds and thats what was sad about last night, ironically the body shot that did the damage last night was trademark Hatton.

Not sure he has been derided just a general sense of sadness about how its ended for him
