The brain needs energy to function properly ithaca there is a parallel between your lack of eating and concentration then it is likely the two are linked
This may help explain it...
On a slightly more serious note I have similar symptoms (although not food related) and have been undergoing neuro tests for the last 8 months. The worst bit is having to travel to Oxford week in week out for diagnosis.

i, too, can relate to some of the symptoms, especially the peeing bit. The first tests I underwent was for the old prostrate, blood tests negative so I got the physical test - no problems. Then it was on to a diabetes test (I have suffered with thyroid problems for years and that gets checked out annually), passed that one ok. After still more problems - lack of concentration etc. I was told it was just stress and given time off work which was not really the answer! At that stage I realised that one of my eyes was not working quite as well as previously, so it was back to the docs and on to the opthalmic specialist. I have a broken blood vessel at the back of my right eye they told me, could be caused by a very minor stroke. No knowledge of symptoms of stroke but still a small problem with the eye, in fact back up to the consultant today to see if there is any improvement in eye. So, it could be any number of things are you would be best to seek help from a professional.

The doctors will just send me packing with whatever prescriptions are likely to make the hospital the most profit. I've been here for over a decade so trust me, I know. I'd rather not waste my money. I'd've been already otherwise.
