Eddie Yeates real name Geoffrey Hughes sadly passed away today

In a time when TV consisted of just 4/5 channels Eddie Yeates the bin man in Corrie was a big character i seem to remember,went onto to do The Royal Family and Keeping Up Apperances.

Read he had cancer a year or two ago.
Twiggy in the Royle Family was a great character. Shame he wont be seen in that brilliant programme again. rip

Prostate cancer. Awful. One of the cancers that kills so many men on an annual basis. This is why I do movember. Definitely needs more awareness.
