Pretty brilliant publicity stunt, will hopefully bring the club some money and fans.

But success, seems a bit unlikely. Caniggia , Keown are 45. Les Saux 43 McBride 40 snd Parlour a sprightly 39.

Actually, I guess that isn't too over the hill to win a few,

If theyve kept themselves in good condition, they Shula be good enough to get them to the point where someone wants to televise the match. It could bring in enough cash to get them up a few leagues and only playing them in the FA cup won't mean that their current players leave.

Could be brilliant.

ESPN are doing a fly on the wall documentary about the whole thing, that's one of the main points of doing it.

Where's Pook when you need him? Fatbury still got him locked in his cupboard?

Saw the story and thought it makes a joke of the club. Awful publicity stunt. Hope they get crocked and knocked out in their first match.

This is a club which, I am guessing, gets an average home attendance of about 45 plus a couple of dogs (canine or otherwise).  If it helps them along for another few seasons then that's got to be a good thing I would have thought.

I reckon it's withdrawal symptoms. Maybe his 'deep fried' dealer has been busted.
