I think you've summed it up just fine, although I would extend 'team' to 'club'. Never had anything against the fans of Crawley, until last night's FLS.

The club refused to be interviewed by Clem for the show, they talked about how they're "just the same as Wimbledon", one fan was moaning because every time anybody scores against them they celebrate "like it's a cup final", and then Steve Evans topped it off by shouting at the camera instead of having a quick word after the game

The fans were just generally bloody whining - suggesting that other fans were jealous of their success etc, when its actually the fact that they are managed by a dislikable convicted idiot and funded in a secretive and suspicious manner. (Although I was a little tipsy when I watched it so it may be my previous dislike blurring my opinions!) I just assumed that Evans refused to be interviewed as in his experience one should never give a recorded interview unless your solicitor is sat next to you!

This. Evans should've been banned by the FA for good after trying to cover up his illegal activity at Boston. Their 'fans' should get reality check. Their club have been in admin twice in the last five years, and the club are seemingly spending money they do not own..again.

...sorry Walrus but Crawley is an incredibly shite place,i go there often....elaborate on the more going for it? Depends where you live in Crawley. At times the area has enjoyed negative unemployment (or is it positive? - the one where there are more jobs than people) and has a great town centre - the number of shops/nightclubs/bars is not proportional to its size, and there are some very affluent areas of Crawley (admittedly trying to break away and shun the Crawley name). Admittedly, the best thing about Crawley is the places its near - London, Brighton, Bluewater. I only live here - I get pissed, work and went to school elsewhere. It's even got a better rail network than Swindon... The only problem is it's 105 miles to the County Ground. Yes some of the people are cunts, but I doubt you'd find many towns/cities without it's share of pikeys. I'm bang in the town (Asda if you know it) and never had any problems of note.

To be fair, you could have substituted Crawley for Croydon, and all of these points would still have been true. Anyway, glass houses etc. Given my Swindon connection (and knowing how readily most folk will have a pop at the town), I'm loth to point the finger at anywhere really. But I'll make an exception for Gillingham. I generally start feeling the need to self harm approx 30 mins after I get there.
