Clarke speaks about Di Canio spat
LEON Clarke has spoken out about the circumstances that led to his departure from Swindon Town on loan this week, denying Paolo Di Canio's version of events.

The reason Clark has kept his mouth shut is because he's been fucking well told to by his agent. The bloke has previous history of being a trouble maker and petulant bastard and more some.
I had a conversation with one of my colleagues (supports Sheff Weds) on Monday night up in a hotel in Barnsley while on company business for a few days. He said to me "didn't take your lot long to get rid of that useless waste of oxygen" and went on to describe in detail how the Wednesday fans despised him in the end. "I thought you were mad in taking him on in the first place" he said among other things.
Interestingly I mix with the field sales team and internal management staff at these get together's every two months or so and football forms part of the natural conversation in the bar in the evenings. What's nice is there is an even mix of big club and smaller club supporters and the conversation outside of business involves everyone. Let me tell you this. If anyone of you has ever wondered why we appointed PDC then you should have been in my shoes, within minutes of getting in the bar yours truly had plenty of people wanting to know about the mighty town, PCD and that waster Clark.
I saw him play at... what's he like as a manager?, will you go up? and so on, it was great. I felt really proud to be a supporter, really proud. I even wore my town shirt at the Tuesday night's bi annual inter department 5 a side. I covered myself in glory, scratches, bruises and scraped elbows defending our honour in goal. Forget the results it was the taking part that counts suffice to say that at breakfast the following day my new name was "the cat".
It'll take me two more years to overcome my injuries playing 5 a side but i showed more commitment and passion than Clark ever did, the prick.
