Politehnica Timişoara have finished 2nd, 5th and 2nd in the top Romanian division during Magera's three seasons with them

Hmm so how are they in the 2nd division?do you get relegated in Rumania for finishing 2nd?
And in those 3 seasons he has scored 20 goals, hardly prolific is it.
And as for Russian premier league clubs being after him, what the same Russian league that want to make Samuel Eto the best paid player in the world on £350,000 a week?

Tough decision then for Lukas, shall i go to the Russian premier league and earn mega bucks,or shall i go and watch an English 4th tier game and hope paolo likes me.

Dream on.

He wants to play in England and obviously thinks that he's got more chance of getting a move to a Championship/Premier League club if he's plying his trade here, as opposed to Siberia.

I get really fucked off by people judging players before they've even watched them.

Relegated to Liga II by RFF (2011–present)
Although FC Timişoara finished on the second place in the 2010–11 Liga I, the team was relegated to Liga II after the license necessary to play in the first division was denied by Romanian Football Federation[38]. It is expected that they will play in the 2011–12 Liga II under the name Politehnica Timişoara, but an official statement from the RFF has not been made yet.

That will explain the league.

I think this sentance explains why they were relegated only a couple of posts above yours -

'the Romanian Football Federation have denied them the licence necessary to play in the top division and have thus relegated them'

However, whilst I think this sounds like a coup for us, I also don't think it makes a lot of sense for a player to turn down what is probably decent money in the Russian Premier league to play for us in Division 4. In the article it says that he is determined to play in England. Guess at 28, this could be his last chance to make it in over here. Surprised that we are the only team in for him (apart from the Russian teams) a little bit.

The Romanian Football Federation relegated them for financial reasons - they owed money to both other football clubs and the taxman.

conceding  4 goals from 4 set pieces over 4 games is a weakness yes, but in open play we look secure at the back even if we do have the odd gaff...

Was sat next to this guy yesterday. He is a big unit and along side Clarke should make a formidable pairing (unfortunately I don't have FM11 or FIFA12 so this is my own opinion and not one that holds any substance).

I really hope he can play Wednesday.  A City fan I know is worried as they are apparently terrible at the back.  With him and Clarke up there, it could be interesting!
