Im glad it wasnt cancelled though. It was 300 miles from London after all.
Many people thought this 3 match series would act in Australias favour, but to have our top 3 batsmen see them off in such emphatic fashion is fantastic for our Ashes prospects. The opening spells from Lee and McGrath at Durham were a horror show for us. But yesterday we restored the psycological advantage. Yet another hundred for Tres.
Im 23 but I cant remmember England beating Australia and winning the ASHES! Its THE most important series of cricket for 20 years if not more.

Yeah ,but its his first ever against australia,and on another day he would have been given out,still it was a good innings.Test matches are so different to odis and also the warne factor has got to be taken into account.Say what you like about the fat tosser but he is a genius,the bastard.
