Im glad it wasnt cancelled though. It was 300 miles from London after all.

Many people thought this 3 match series would act in Australias favour, but to have our top 3 batsmen see them off in such emphatic fashion is fantastic for our Ashes prospects. The opening spells from Lee and McGrath at Durham were a horror show for us. But yesterday we restored the psycological advantage. Yet another hundred for Tres.

Im 23 but I cant remmember England beating Australia and winning the ASHES! Its THE most important series of cricket for 20 years if not more.

I think the last time was about 1986/87 from memory when we beat them.

I agree with the post above, i cant stand Warne but he's the best spin bowler in the world and a cricketing genius.
