For those who do not know,

Quote
"Actor and singer Roy Skelton, best known for voicing puppets George and Zippy in the popular children's programme Rainbow, has died aged 79."

He also did the voice of the daleks.

As politically incorrect as it is I remember going to see Jim Davidson in the 80's, one of the funniest parts of the show was seeing George & Zippy swearing at Bungle Smiley

There are some videos on YouTube which show the end of series shows they all did including Rod, Jane & Freddy where they all rip the piss from each other. Worth looking up, some were aired and others not.
