At South Marston, been trying to find out if they have a home page on account of getting a glimpse of some records.
Does anyone know if they have a facility to actually go in and see books/records/manuscripts?
Maybe it is just a storage place which means a trip to there library in Oxford Head Hurts

They opened up a while back to help store the millions of books/records etc as Oxford was full.
Am nipping there tomorow but just wondered if anyone could tell me.

No, it's not an open library just an extended storage facility for the main library in Oxford. And nor is that an open access library - you have to be a member of the University or able to present credentials as a legitimate scholar

99% certain it's just a big warehouse used for storage. If you want to see anything you need to go to Oxford.

All the information is on their website: http://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/

Basically, you need a very legitimate academic reason to use one of their libraries and then they might let you in. You can't just turn up for a casual flick through their books and a quick wank in the adult section.
