Agent defends Sheehan trial

ALAN Sheehan’s agent has responded to comments from Swindon caretaker boss Paul Bodin regarding the defender’s decision to go on trial with Preston today, insisting the move was arranged with
the complete knowledge of the club.

It's a bit ironic that our first choice left back needs an agent to defend for him.

I agree with what you say Bart but I can understand where the agent is coming from.  Entitled to go and hook himself up somewhere else if nothing has been offered, irrelevant of how bad his attitude is.

His agent's done a pretty good job getting him a trial at a better club than us after the season he's had.

He'd have ended up in League 2 / Conference this season if Rose hadn't had such a disastrous start.

initially i was outraged, but if he's got a bonus waiting and we're not going to play him as a result (bodin only said he wasn't even thought about being in the squad after the trial was announced) then i think he's maybe been a bit silly, but can understand it

i just hope we release him quickly and he signs for preston and rots there

As far as I'm concerned what has happenned is irrelevant. what is releveant is that he will not be wearing a Town shirt next season. Still a few to go but with Dossevi and O Brien its a good start.
