I guess they've had threats, or picked up intelligence which is making them evacuate.  Sounds like they are getting people out ok so should be no problems hopefully.

sky news said they are not evacuating the pubs etc just closing the ring road.

can't be to serious i hope??

Sounds as if it was simply a precautionary measure, obviously the police are being very vigiliant.

I have a feeling it was probably some sick cunt phoning in a bomb threat.

Princes Street in Edinburgh was closed off on thursday afternoon as a 'suspect package' was found on a bus.

Scary times in this country at the moment!  :|

luckily birmingham was alright when i landed this morning...armed police though were walking around the airport and birmingham.
