I actually think Ward was the one key player from last season we've got closest to replacing: Ritchie isn't in Ward's class, but lets face it, we got fucking lucky that our one in a hundred random Premiership youth team kid turned out to be bloody brilliant. Ritchie isn't as good, but he's certainly good enough for this division, and a lot closer to the standard than Frampton for Greer, Pericard/Andrew for Paynter, Fat Sheehan for 2010 model Sheehan etc.
