I'm still some what surprised we havent tried Amankwaah at right back and Caddis right midfield more often.
Caddis to me looks like an old fashion winger, ball down the line, run, cross.
Your the stats man DV. Didn't JPM have a fairly impressive assist total last season or did I imagine that? Most of the time with Amankwaah behind him.

JPM topped the whole division with 17.
He's a good player who I like, last season was easily the best of his career.
He hasnt been half as good this season, neither has Amankwaah - which I put down to individual form and the break up of the partnership.
JPM has been so off form that right now i'd rather see Caddis right wing to be honest.

Understand what people are saying about his issues playing full back due to lack of physicality.
Still think he's a skilful player though and not worth just casting aside, should be able to find a role for a player of his quality.

Like DV, I think he's more of a winger or an attacking full back than a pure right back.
The trouble is, he's being asked to do a lot of defending which because of his size he easily gets muscled off the ball or loses out on headers.
I think if we'd had Caddis last season when we were taking the game to others teams every week he would've been a stand out player.

Ive been impressed with his positioning and use of his body + speed rather than height to get to the ball. He's good. Different style to Amankwaah.

I prefer Amankwaah at RB. Caddis is a winger not a defender.

Caddis is a good player, but an attacking RB a bit like Ashley Cole. Likes to get forward as much as possible. Is that viable in L1? Who knows.

Some of our players need shooting, so hopefully he is!

I generally think he's been good at RB - as pointed out earlier in the thread his tackling is great and not many wingers get past him. However, I've been less impressed with his distribution out of defence at times - too many passes have gone astray, which seems at odds with thinking he'd be a good midfielder!

Ive yet to see him whip in a truly great cross which is what we we're led to believe he'd be doing. Still time I suppose.

Good points...fact is though every time a defender looks to distribute the ball up front there is no one in place.....so it gets lumped,Cuthbert who i think had a better game on Saturday didn't have any options many times.....so instead of getting caught with the ball it was Hoooooof.

That's most probably down to the fact we have no fucker in the box to cross it too !

Caddis would have slotted in nicely in our 95/96 team. He'd be perfect in a 5 man defence with attacking full backs. I'd prefer him in right midfield playing 4-4-2.
