18 months ago i splashed out on a Roberts Gemini 59 DAB Radio.

Now the bloody sound has stopped (still working).

Checked out the net and it seems a design fault with the power system.

Do you reckon Roberts should repair for free???

Answers on a virtual postcard please.

I guess you can buy try . always worth politely mentioning the sale of goods act and the fact you don't consider 18 months a reasonable lifetime for a premium radio.

might get you nowhere but you never know.

Check the warranty as I think quite a few have longer than the standard year...if not, you'll have to write a few shitty letters but they'll probably help eventually.

That sounds a bit unlucky mind, I've had my Roberts DAB for 5-6 years now with no problem.

Does it work if you plug some headphones/external speakers in?

Roberts are usually pretty good at repairing things free of charge even out of warranty...in my experience at least.
