Someone's already been at his Wikipedia entry.
Whilst it didn't work out at Newcastle, he had a pretty good record at Bolton and now at Blackburn. Can't see him ever getting a big club due to the tactics he plays, no fucker would pay big money to watch it week in week out.

Reminds me of when Andy King won that Swiss watch award or whatever it was so he was "officially" better than Wenger Kingy could teach Allardyce a thing or two about humility

Sam's a wierd'un. In near enough all aspects of management he's one of the most forward thinking and innovative there is. He then ruins it by setting his sides up the way he does

I remember Allardyce having a slanging match with McMuck when we clinched promotion at Blackpool in '96. He then got the boot after fooking up in the play-offs.
I find his tactics perfect for a small club, who makes it awkward for bigger sides.
