Ha, ha, great thread, especially Ben's "clean shaven I look like Clare Balding". I'm now seriously tempted to grow a beard, just for the partial stage shave off as so brilliant described by NN. Although obviously I won't because I have to drop my kids off at school and don't want to look like I'm hanging round the playground

I prefer the hirsute Mr D personally. Out of interest and not being funny, but what happened with your alopecia? Did it just get better by itself?

Ha, ha. I see what you did there Smiley Yeah, grew back as suddenly as it fell out, almost exactly a year later. Weird (although not as weird as I looked). Apparently it happens like that. Some folk, it never grows back, sometimes you get it once then it never happens again and sometimes it can go in cycles so you get an "incident" every 2/5/10 years or so which can last for 12-18 months then it grows back and all falls out again in 5/10/whatever years. Have to confess I'm not on tenterhooks to see which category I fall into Smiley

I completely understand. I have been getting weird physical shit for years which turns up for a while and then never comes back. I'm currently enjoying psoriasis which will probably disappear in a few months. I have had odd foot rashes, piles, styes, warts, verrucas etc over the years.

I'm just waiting for the random penis enlargement to kick in.

Wiggy, are you still bearded? I am now in the beard club, I am pleased to report it's a full coverage.....last time I did this was 1995.  Roll Eyes

That might be a little rash claiming recovery too soon.

Ive only 2 rules for beards. If they start to get itchy or bits of food get stuck in it, then its got to go.
