Have we won any awards for our pitch recently? We should have done as I can't remember seeing many, if any, that are better - definitely none that hold up as well throughout the season. It was like a snooker table most of last season.

Good question Jonny. Who won league 1 pitch of the year?

That has to be bollocks, were those three pitches really better than ours? Find that really hard to believe.

That's "The Playing Surfaces Groundsman of the Year Award". Is that the official one?

I didn't even see many PL pitches that were better than ours last season, especially over the winter months.

Before the start of the forest game our pitch looked stunning, an absolute credit to those involved.

I was on the pitch before the Forest game (Sponsers!) and none of us could believe what we were walking on. To say it was like a carpet would not be giving it the credit it deserves. I have never been anywhere near a pitch that looked as good to play on as that. If you can play on that, then its really time to give up the game and stack shelves in Tesco's.

Saints pitch was good last season to be fair, absolutely flat. Ours is always decent  Smiley
