one of the most nervous, emotional and proud weeks of my life.
it was fucking amazing.
the milk cup is ran brilliantly, and is a real big deal for the northern irish who embrace the tournament and work hard to make it what it is.
it was so much better than i ever imagined.and the lads were superb

Great stuff arriba, i have had over the years lots of dealings with football within the northern ireland youth groups and the organisation and passion is outstanding.

I plan to come over for this one year.

it really has to be seen to be believed.the whole thing just blew me away.
people come out in their thousands for the team parade, and games get large attendances.swindon town are very well regarded out there with the locals i can tell you.
all over it was just fantastic.i'm hoping for some more of it next year

D'you have to pay to watch the games, or just the obvious flights/hotel fees?

some games you have to pay, but others are free.
you can get group tickets which save loads of money if you want to watch alot of matches.you need a car as games are spread around the area.
i watched about 3 games a day over there.1 of which being the swindon fixture.i was charged to enter one of the town games.

My son played in it last year, its a fantastic well run tournament, and gives the boys a taste of what its like being a pro footballer. For most of the boys this will be the closest they get to being a pro,and boy do they enjoy it. A few will make the youth team. The rest will be released, but the memories they will have will stay with them for a long time.
