I like Morrison. That loan at Southend must have done him some good last season. I sure hope it has. With Greer seemingly now gone it's a chance for him to get back into the first team picture.

He's got something about him, definitely and I would not be opposed to seeing him play more this season, but we still need to bring someone else in.

My take on Morrison is that he's got a lot of belief in himself.

He's had fault free games where he's really shined, like the Southampton home game.

But if he makes one mistake early in a game you might as well haul him off straight away. He just seems to get very frustrated with himself and seems to lose the plot a bit, and then make even more mistakes. Walsall away in particular was an absolute disaster.

He needs to improve 2 things, his decision making, centre backs cannot get caught in posession, ever, its a giveaway goal. And secondly his temprament. With experience he'll learn that mistakes happen, you wipe the slate clean and start again.

Which is why I mentioned earlier about him doing well on loan at Southend. We've not really seen him play since then (one appearence against Orient I think) so he may have come on in leaps and bounds for all we know.

...and Franchise away.

Which again, fits in perfectly with what Spencer just said about Morrison.
