does anybody know if places will accept debit cards for the deposit? the few that will hire to a 24 year old all seem to require a credit card in my name for the deposit.

i would phone them but they are closed for the day and was hoping someone on here might have done it before

I've always paid the deposit by debit card when booking with M4 Self Drive.

sorted now, found a place in swindon that was pretty cheap and didn't want to charge me silly money for being under 25.
