Channel 5 are showing a match, but it doesn't say which one.

Shakhtar (1) vs (2) Fulham
Sporting (1) vs (2) Everton
Urea Urinal (0) vs (1) Liverpool

All of them look pretty decent to be fair, in every match either side could do it based on the first leg scores

Fulham game's been pretty good, Shakhtar have some nice buildup play but seem shot shy.

To be fair to UEFA, this competition does seem to be more competitive this season. Seems like there are a lot of countries still represented. Enjoyed the German/Dutch clashes in the first round.

There's nothing wrong with the UEFA/Europa Cup. It's just snobbery from clubs and media that filters into the typically snobby English fanbases.

There's been plenty of entertaining finals in this competiton the last decade too.

We could have won it if it wasn't for footballing snobbery.

I think they should ditch those special needs people they have plodding around the penalty area.

Yes there is. I don't like the fact the Champions league flops get in it. And I prefer straight knock out.

Oh, and bring back the cup winners cup.

My point wasn't with the trophy structure but with a quality of football on show.

I prefer a good ol' fashioned knock-out competition me. If you draw Manchester United or Inter Milan in the 1st Round then oh well, there's always next year Smiley

Rich, I agree completely. We are very quick to label things as second rate in England. Maybe Premier League clubs think they can look down on everyone else from their mountain of debt?
