Ferdinand / Man Utd are appealing the 4 game ban:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/8487290.stm

What are they thinking? How can it end in anything other than an even longer ban?

Hopefully they will extend it, meaning he misses the final.

Reading it, they are appealing against the extra game, and not what he was originally banned for, so in effect they are now agreeing with the punishment, which he appealed for in the first place.

No I didn't - before they were only considering an appeal, now they are appealing.

I see said the blind man to the deaf rabbit as he picked up his hammer and saw. Same link you see, mislead me. BBC should create a new page for each non-story. Smiley

Not really. They appealed against the original ban and lost their appeal. Now they are saying it's wrong for the extra game to added on. This in no way suggests they agree with the original ban being upheld.
