Bobby Barnes had a brilliant start to his Swindon career but I remember he got sent off for making a V sign at the linesman after a goal was chalked off for offside, when in fact he was indicating with his fingers the other way around that's two you've disallowed. Think there was a fall out with Lou Macari the next season and was shipped off to Bournemouth as we made the play offs

He was Ok but oiver rated. I remember a 0-0 draw up at Blackburn when he rounded the keeper and hit it goalwards and ran back to the centre circle hands aloft. Un fortunately, it had pissed it down and the ball got stuck on the goal line.

my post did state post war.

What on earth has a bloody war got to do with it ? Shall we just throw in the Suez campaign, Falklands war or Mau Mau offensive to suit the statistics ? It's Harry Morris then, and he was good enough to spend 7 years with us. Match that Billy boy and your agent buddy !
