So McLaren steal some technical information and they get the book thrown at them, whilst Renault don't even get a slap on the wrist for putting lives at risk. Formula 1 is a joke, I'm surprised anyone watches it anymore.

Why should the whole team be punished for the actions of three individuals?

Why should the whole team be punished for the actions of three individuals?

Because the team benefits, and they work for them. There were only 3 or 4 people involved in the McLaren scandal, but they get penalised $100m.

Why should the whole team be punished for the actions of three individuals?

It wasn't just any three individuals though, it was; the team boss, the head of engineering and a driver. So that's three of the four most important individuals at the team, with some question marks over whether the fourth (Alonso) was involved as well.

Besides, everybody knows that the real reason they didn't give them the punishment they deserved is that they didn't want them to turn their back on motor sport. As usual with Formula 1 it was the wrong decision for the wrong reasons. Every time you think they've done the dumbest thing possible they pull one out of the bag and do something dumber.

Who gives a fuck. Formula 1 is the pits. Those directly involved exude  more greed and arrogance than any of our Premier League teams could manage. Those who enthuse over it are as naive as Oxford fans and as plastic as Reading fans. Ok, wave your Ferrari flags all you want, if you want to be associated with a crooked 'sport'. Whoops ! I forgot that 2 high profile figures within our club actually make money from F1. Deary me.

Smiley Good work, nev would be proud.

If the FL apply the rules, Briatore should now be kicked out of QPR as he fails the Fit and Proper test by virtue of having been barred by another sport's administrative body. Don't hold your breath.

Flavio Briatore has won his appeal against the lifetime ban imposed by the FIA.

The FIA are going to appeal the decision.
