I see the club's carol service is tonight in Old Town, according to the OS. Anyone going?

I hate Christmas Carols. Every year it's just the same generic songs sung by people with no real talent. Where's the competition, the originality? I propose we stop going christmas caroling and start singing 90's rock songs instead.

I thought the singing vicar did well on Saturday, he had to do it alone.

That reverend was fucking terrible. He'd probably still make the x factor finals though.

I suggest we all buy Rage Against The Machine to prevent that Reverend ever singing at the CG again.

Does it make any difference? Do your ears hurt any less knowing he was a man of the cloth?

Perhaps he was a man touching cloth.  It would certainly make singing well quite difficult (I imagine).

If anyone cares what I think (and you should), I thought it was brilliant that RATM was number one. Even if it's just for the massive way it highlights changes in media and communication and buzzword3.

X-Factor Bloke had 15(ish) weeks of an increasing portion of a prime time ITV show at two prime time 2hour+ slots a week. Plus all the other media attention, tabloids, magazines etc.

Some couple start a facebook group, doesn't get any media attention until the last week, and even then most of the comercial radio stations were slow to tag along.

Brilliant.
