What a great signing he has been.I would say he has probably been our best defender this year and seems to be improving every week i have a feeling this lad will go on to play at a higher level.

On another note i was sat amongst his mates today and fair play they were cheering us on singing whenever the fans did and even let out a ironic boo at one point(i think) when cuthbert was on the ball

The lad is a Championship regular in the making, at least!

Cuthbert is excellent and alongside Greer I would say it's the best central defensive partnership we've had since Taylor and Calderwood, well done Danny Wilson and Mr Fitton! Smiley

I would agree that Cuthbert is an excellent signing, not quite so sure about Greer, ok for this league but if we went up . . . .  Unhappy with the amount of silly free kicks he gives away around the box, one cost us a goal yesterday.

People have short memories, it wasn't that long ago that Greer was god.

I thought he did well yesterday, he's going to give away free kicks as he doesn't like the ball to bounce and goes after each 100% He dominated there CF for most of yesterday, just wasnt quite at his very best, which is still better than most in this league.

It's what i was thinking. I suppose it's down to contrast though. When Greer was next to Ifil et al, he looked ace. Now he's next to Cuthbert people compare them, and therefore believe he's not very good. Although that's not my opinion, i happen to think Greer is fucking ace, along with Cuthbert of course. The first time i can recall seeing 2 superb Centre Backs, both of which could play in the division above.

Cuthbert/Greer > Ifil/Aljofree/Morrison/Vincent/O'Hanlon/Heywood...

I think Cuthbert is now Towns most valuable player money wise.

But Greer is still top class and a great captain!
