If I was smarter I'd do a joke linking it with 'going off the rails'.

But I'm not.
Someone mentioned it at half time last night and said they'd heard his career had hit the buffers, but he was back on track now

According to the BBC he missed the flight and was told to try and catch the next train to Berlin.

That joke is completely wrong anyway.

The correct joke is not funny either.

I used to live near Hannover 96 and have always followed their form - sad news.

I'm also hearing that Carlo Cudicini has been in a motorbike accident today.

This any better?!

Apparently Robert Enke has died after diving in front of a train.... bugger me what a save that would have been!

Robert enke's test was conclusive, despite having reflexes like a cat, he does NOT have the same lifes.

Breaking his wrists and injuring his pelvis would of course be acceptable in the 6 week summer break.

I'm not one to give advice to professional footballers, but I do think Robert Enke should have come off the line a bit quicker.
