Anyone see it on Channel 4 last night?

It is about an alternate-present, where vampires live among humans, and instead of drinking human blood they drink this synthetic stuff called "Tru Blood".

So far all the vampires have taken on human form, with not a single bat to be seen.

From the first episode it would appear that the series is a metaphor for racial acceptance, but don't let that turn you off as there are also lots of fantasticly pert breasts on display.

I enjoyed it and shall tune in next week.

I watched it and didn't know what to make of it to be honest. 138 year old vampire, a waitress that can hear peoples thoughts but is 'human'.

Sex scene was a bit out the blue.

A hit in the states, so I'll stick with it.

Watched the whole of Season 1.

Jason Stackhouse = Fred Elliot. Keep watching and you'll see what I mean.......Somewhere around Episode 4 or 5 is just hilarious, but scary in equal measure.

And there is something about Anna Paquin, with that sultry southern slut accent......

I think every man would like to be Jason Stackhouse !!!

I've watched the whole series on FX. Yes, it's a bit weird in places, and it is certainly no Buffy, but it's worth sticking with.

Will give it another try but thought last night wasn't great.  Came across as low budget schlock but worth another look if the reports are as good as they say.

Does look a bit shit. Someone at work recommended it to me, however, he also recommended Millennium and Supernatural, which are two of the shittest TV programmes i've ever watched.

But the general consensus on here is it's not bad, so might have to give it a go.

Can't beat Dexter and the new series of Bones started tonight, which is ace.

I thought season one was a bit tacky and it really took a while to get into it.  However, season two really was excellent and had even more breasts which obviously helps.

Jason Stackhouse = Vinnie from Home and Away

I watched the whole series on FX and it gets better as the season goes on.  Definately worth watching, stick with it people!
