Can anyone tell me what was the last Premiership game to be called off because of bad weather? Cheers.

My guess was the Monday night game, Birmingham vs. Bolton in 2005 due to fog.

Is that, that one answered then? If so...
(Without looking up the answer) which team was the last to field a entirely english team in the FA Cup final?

Back to the first question...Dec 2005, Newcastle - Charlton? postponed due to icy conditions around the ground?

Yep Hammers in 75.
West Ham in 3 finals only fielded one "foreign" player, a Scottish full back in 1980. Previous to the 1975 final, (one in the sixties) was 100% english including the managers.

By the way, I don't know the answer to the original question. We were just having a discussion about whether it was a requirement to have undersoil heating to play in the Premiership because of the costs of a game being called off.

Birmingham don't have it, they are installing it this summer, so I don't think it is a requirement.

I can only recall that particular Birmingham match because I was in Plymouth Uni student union that evening and remember watching the presenters being somewhat bemused. Evening Rupert Murdoch can't prevent heavy fog... yet.
