Awww it sounded like a baying locals, gladiators and piss heads in the paper.

I was working or would have gone, it was so stupidly expensive though.

No one offered to fight me for my seat.

Didnt see one chair chucked.

Whats the point?

He wants to do more, but he will have to knock down the prices. People only payed it to watch Jamie Cox.

Obviously most of the crowd were getting pissed, but it wasnt that rowdy.

Keith Mayo does love boxing, and you cant blame the bloke for trying to bring it to Swindon.

He'll be on undercards for years.

Its a shame, but he'd have to be dropped by Frank Warren first. Otherwise he'll just be on Calzaghe undercards and stuff even for national belts. £70 a ticket.

Im happy to pay £70 for a decent fight with Cox on the undercard looking for a British title.Ive paid that a few times for Hatton in Manc and there have been kiddies on the undercard with smallish local supports and those smallish supports have the best crack because its a local thing.

The whole reason cox was allowed to fight in this thing last night by Warren was to draw a local  "football" type support.Lets be honest Cox seems a better better bet than STFC at the mo..

Decent night. I think the ref stopped the Cox fight a bit early but the gulf in class was clear and I'm sure he would have gone soon after. Jamie Cox was winning 40-36 up on my card at that point.

B-Hop beat Pavlik last night, which makes Calzaghe's win look excellent, and also validates his decision to choose RJJ over the middleweight champ.
