Talking of monitors instead of TVs, at christmas i wanted a 22" LG for my new computer that could be used as a TV. I bought one and it had a dead pixel. I took it back hoping to get another but they explained they're sold out. So, i decided to have another gander at what they had on the shelves and came across an older 20" LG widescreen with the same resolution, and TV capability.
It was a returned item, so being sold for £179.99, reduced from £250 or something. I thought to myself, i'll have that, thats a great monitor at a decent enough price, bargain. Anyway, the superb salesman at PC world, noticing me eying it up, swaggers over, and his first words - in his best attempt at the hard sell - are, "You can have it for £100 if you want?"
