Anyone been recently? I went the other night and it was shit. Fair enough the place was full of stag parties but all three acts were very average and it was basic, complete no-brainer humour. Perhaps it was just the Friday night lineup?

I went to Jongleurs in Oxford in March on a stag weekend.  Have to agree with you - it was the least memorable comedy night I've been to.  I was disappointed to see Mandy Knight on the bill.  She used to work the London stand up circuit 12 or 13 years ago when I first started going, and she's still at it now...making tasteless gags about menstruating grandmothers etc.  Not right in the head, that one.

On a funnier note, my wife and I saw Russell Howard on Friday at the Princes Hall in Aldershot, and he was brilliant.

I saw Russell Howard doing his trial run for the current run down here in one of the comedy nights in Chard...bloody brilliant, supported by his best mate Mark Olver...who if you have a chance to see then do hes as good as Russ.

I have just booked a department night out at Jongluers leeds.  Got quite a good deal, 70% off, used the code MONEY5 I believe, which I got from here. 15 people for £90 bargain!
