A colleague of mine (honest it's not me) has managed to some how lock her keyboard. Now none of the keys work, she lent on the keyboard now nothing happens when she goes to type.
The keyboard hot keys, like the internet button still work but none of the typewriter keys. Anyone know how to undo this?

Have they tried unplugging the keyboard then reconnecting it,they may have to reboot the pc tho.

The keyboard "hot keys" i.e. shortcut to windows media, and shortcut to their internet homepage still works though it's just all the character keys, letters numbers, space bar etc none of them work.
Problem is if she reboots and it's still not working she won't be able to log on. So was looking for help prior to going down that road really.

Press both shift keys at the same time. It sounds like filter keys or sticky keys as it's sometimes called.
