Can I have an example of somebody who's got a disabled parking thing just because they've lost a finger?

It took me an awful lot of paperwork and proof that I could not walk more than 30 yards without severe pain and discomfort and also proof that I was on Disabled Living Allowance (with the higher mobility component) before they would entertain sending me my blue badge.

I too would like to see proof of the loss of a finger as being a valid reason for getting a blue badge because if this is true then its very easy to have the said badge removed because it does not comply with government regulations concerning mobility impairment.

No disrespect for disabled drivers, but having a blue badge doesn't mean you can park anywhere especially not on junctions!!

Hey DRS no need to apologise at all, you are entitled to your opinion and in many points I and most other people totally agree with them, there is a fucking lot of exploitation of the system going on that needs to be sorted out.

As for parking on junctions...all I can say is that I never abuse the privelidge of it (because it is a privelidge not a right) by parking in ignorant and dangerous places such as junctions zig zags etc, the full force of the law should be brought down on them as any other law breaking individuals, as its not just blue badge holders that do it!

Clearly loads of people are borrowing badges or the such as it is quite difficult to get one.
