Nobody on here seems to have mentioned that Super Sammy Parkin paid a visit to the County Ground Hotel last night before departing, presumably for good.
It was only brief but it was a nice gesture from him. A few lads then went to chat with him but I stayed with my pint...
Farewell SSP and good luck for the future.

Was a touch and to be fair took balls. Was very shocked when he came in, there was about 8 of us around teh corner and at fiorst thought it was kicking off as the swindon songs started!
At Watford today a mate whos clued up down there said Watford are in for him.....could pay for it as are selling Helgusen
