One of the girls who works in our office in Bicester lives with the former kit manager of the scum from the Kassam. He, along with several other backroom staff (including the scouting network) were made redundant after the last game of the season. He agreed a deal for severance pay etc. but they have never paid him his cheque, or any of the other "sacked" staff. He was planning on telling them today it was his cheque or face going to court. Apparently as at 2 pm, they had chosen to go to court!! Perhaps they are waiting for a postal order to arrive!!

These rumours were doing the rounds a couple of weeks ago too. I guess this fits in with the redundancy time frame.
No idea if the rumours are true or not. Helpful eh.

This will probably be because they now have to trim down costs to fit into the Pub League rules about expenditure. They were allowed a grace period after they decided League Football was too much for them, but now they have to decide if it's Pork Pies or Scotch Eggs in the VIP area, not both. The squad has been trimmed as well over the past yeat to acheive the correct cost on half time Orange Segments.

They gambled on going straight back up. In true scummers cock sure 'we're too big for the next 3 leagues fashion'.
They gambled, they lost. They dont own their ground, and if their season ticket holders have any sense they wont renew next season, and just go to watch games against the better clubs.
But then again, they could land a miracle this season. I always used to say with Swindon, when you were at the depths of despair, usually you would get something. When it looked like we were destined to battle relegation to league 2 for ever at the start of this decade, we signed Sam Parkin.
but at the end of the day, they really really are shit
