Olof Mellberg bought a mixture of home and away Aston Villa shirts for all of the 3000+ Villa fans that travelled down to West Ham. It said on the back :

yup it is, its also nice to see the Villa fans give him a good send off despite the fact he turned down a new contract and left for free.

So many players become 'hated' when they do that, as we all know as Swindon fans.

He said in January he was going to leave, the manager kept picking him, the fans kept supporting him and he kept playing 100% every single game.

Makes a change and is nice to see....

Indeed, I doubt the club shop had 3000 shirts in stock.
