It seems that way. JPM played well and one of our better players and nearly everything went through him.

No one seems to have noticed and continue to slate him. The new Duke...
You're contradicting your own argument. Duke WAS crap

(to be fair I thought he did ok when played on the wing rather than at full back, but he rarely did and was therefore crap)

Duke was not crap.

Duke just wasnt a full back, yet King played him there.

He did much better when he was played as a wing back or a winger.

If he played as a winger his whole time here he wouldnt have got half the stick he got, some of which was seriously undeserved.

I thought Duke was OK, nothing special but in my opinion always gave 100%, I doubt if many other players wearing a Swindon shirt received so much abuse from  supporters who followed their team, and totally uncalled for.
He did well to rise above it.

The difference is that Duke was pretty crap but was a 100% er whereas JPM is crap and a 25% er. I can put up with crap what I can't put up with is someone who doesn't try very hard.
He may well have all the tools in his locker but its no bloody good if he's too lazy to take them out.
