Well what a fucking week i've had.
As you may know i had an ACL reconstruction (cruciate ligament) 3 weeks ago which went extremely well.
That was untill i developed an infection, celulitus and blood clot just below my knee.
My leg looked like an elephants and was tight/red as fuck. My foot was extremely swollen and my leg was virtually black with bruising. It was dying basically!!!! This appeared in my second week post op and it wasn't good so a trip to A&E in Banbury last saturday told me i had an infection. Came back to Brum on sunday and was admited to hospital and drugged up with IV antibiotics. to which they now discover i'm sensitive to Penacilyn cos i had a massive reaction to it on sunday night where i had to be put on an ecg and monitored cos my heart rate went sky high. tachycardic i think it's called.
then to top things off i had another operation on Wednesday to clear out the infection and blood clot.
Now they've left the wound open and attached a vac pack into it to help keep it dry from infection and heal it from inside out. i've photos to post once i get soted but fuck me i'm glad to be out of hospital.

My dad had cellulitus after his replacement knee op at Ridgeway.
We thought at one point we were going to lose him.
Nasty stuff.
Good luck fella

Hope it all goes well mate, I head the same op as you about 10 years ago and my knee still gives me more gip than the achilles repair i had last year.
All the breast.
