Because of you I had crumpets for lunch! but I had to go for real cheese as processed was not available!

I always prefer roast potatoes cooked in beef fat from a nice joint of sirloin.

Dead right they won't be nice.  You could always lightly fry the potatoes instead of roasting them and can chuck in a bit of butter at the end -  when it foams up swirls the spuds in them and they'll taste great.  Tend to do this with new potatoes though

Just realised you fry them then add the butter for a few minutes at teh end, best go off and start it, thanks for the advice guys
